Weekend CollegeWeekend College is a new initiative at Roanoke-Chowan Community College. The intent is to provide an array of courses and programs that appeal to adult learners, like yourself, who are in need of starting and finishing some type of educational degree or credential beyond high school.

Students may attend full or part-time, whatever best fits their scheduling needs. As Weekend College students, you have the option of taking courses outside of Weekend College. Ideally, you may complete the program in two years depending upon whether or not developmental courses are needed.

In today's economy when many people are being laid off, all experts agree that the way to hedge income decline and job loss is for individuals to secure the proper education and training in fields and programs that have growth potential in providing jobs of the future.

The Weekend College curriculum provides individuals with a variety of courses and programs in flexible learning formats that meet the needs of working adults needing degrees and certifications to get to the next level in their career advancement and educational attainment.
